Puttachar Niranjan MurthyBefore jumping into treatment aspect let us discuss diagnosis. First thing in Bone tumors is almost all tumors are deceptive and very difficult to label a diagnosis unless confirmed by pathologists. Well, there is no scope for osteochondromas because it is in metaphysis only and not in diaphysis. Here the growth is in diaphysis. Secondly it is almost nodular or spindle shaped without any symptoms for more than 6 months. X ray clearly shows tumor is from cortex than medulla! So let us agree to disagree later to say that this is a variant of Exostosis for the time being. As for as treatment is concerned it is the problem between doctor and patient & his parents. Why can’t we wait till Dr Girish comes out with his result?
